Everything you might be wondering - from packing to weather to getting here. Don't see your question? Get in touch.

You only carry a daypack - your main luggage is transferred between lodges. Essentials: broken-in trail shoes or boots, a rain shell, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, SPF 30+), 2L of water capacity, and snacks. For evenings, casual clothes for the lodge. We send a full packing list after booking.

These are moderate-to-challenging treks. You should be comfortable hiking 6–12 miles a day with 1,500–3,000 ft of elevation gain, several days in a row. We recommend 8–12 weeks of preparation: regular hikes building to an 8+ mile day with a loaded daypack. For the 8-day adventure (which includes a 14er summit), prior altitude hiking experience is highly recommended.

Groups are intentionally small - typically 6 to 10 hikers plus your guides. This keeps the experience personal, flexible, and safe, and lets us stay in intimate lodge accommodations.

Colorado afternoons can bring thunderstorms, especially above treeline. Your guides monitor conditions daily and may adjust start times, reroute, or in rare cases skip a high pass for safety. We carry emergency communication and a full first-aid kit. Safety always comes first - no exceptions.

A 25% deposit is required to hold your spot. The deposit is non-refundable but transferable to any other adventure in the same calendar year if you notify us at least 90 days before the adventure start date. Upon 90 days prior to departure, the entire balance is due and fully non-refundable. Trip insurance is required.

Fly into Denver International Airport (DIA), about 2 hours from Breckenridge. From there you can take a shuttle service (e.g., Colorado Mountain Express, Epic Mountain Express, Bustang), rent a car, or use a ride-share. We don't include airport transfers, but we'll send detailed directions and recommendations after booking. Plan to arrive in Breckenridge by late afternoon on Day 1.

5-day adventures begin in Breckenridge and finish in Vail. 8-day adventures begin and end in Breckenridge, looping through Vail and Minturn before returning via a 14er summit. Guests are responsible for arranging transportation from the adventure's ending location, and we're happy to provide shuttle and transportation recommendations for either itinerary.
